True Storytelling Evening at The Dragon Sanctuary

Join us at The Dragon Sanctuary for an evening of True Storytelling on Saturday, 10th May. Share your inspiring stories, learn from others, or simply listen and enjoy the community spirit. No advance booking required.

We all have a story to tell - sometimes it's about a miraculous event that left us in awe, other times it's about challenges faced and lessons learned. These stories remind us of what truly matters in life. If you have such a story, or would like to hear the stories of others, we invite you to join us at The Dragon Sanctuary for an evening of True Storytelling on Saturday, 10th May from 7pm to 9.30pm.

True Storytelling is not about performance, it's about sharing our stories in community, for inspiration, healing, and mutual understanding. We’ll sit in a circle, and everyone is welcome to share their story. It's also perfectly fine to simply sit, listen, and enjoy the stories shared by others.

The evening will be led by Leo Sofer, an experienced storyteller who has hosted many such evenings. Leo will begin the evening with a true story of his own and then open the circle for more. We’ll aim to keep each story to around 10 minutes, and there will be a short period for reflections after each story. We'll also have a tea break, so you'll have time to chat and reflect on the stories shared.

Doors open at 6.30pm, and we invite you to come early for a cup of tea and chat. There's no need to book in advance, just pay on the door by cash or card. The entrance fee is £10.

We're located at 34 Bossell Road, Buckfastleigh TQ11 0DD. For more information about this event and our other offerings, please visit our website at www.dragonsanctuary.co.uk.
