Moor Socials for over-50s in Buckfastleigh

Moorland Community Caring hosts friendly Moor Socials in Buckfastleigh for over-50s on the first and third Wednesdays, with tea, cake, talks and activities at The Globe, 12–2. Enjoy homemade lunch and hot drinks for a suggested £4, with transport help available.

Come and join us for a friendly lunchtime get‑together. Moorland Community Caring runs its Moor Social in Buckfastleigh on the first and third Wednesday of each month, welcoming anyone aged 50+. It’s a warm, easy way to get out, meet people, enjoy a slice of cake and a cuppa, join in with light talks and activities, or simply sit and chat. We’d love to see you there.

March dates and venue:

  • Wednesday 4 March 2026, 12pm–2pm
  • Wednesday 18 March 2026, 12pm–2pm
  • The Globe, 123 Plymouth Road, Buckfastleigh, TQ11 0DA

What’s included: For a suggested donation of £4, enjoy homemade sandwiches, a pudding, and hot drinks.

Getting there: We do our best to help with transport to and from the Moor Social. If you’d like to come along but need a lift, we can usually arrange it — there’s a suggested donation of £1 for transport.
