Jigsaw puzzle competition at Buckfastleigh Library

Buckfastleigh Library hosts a friendly Jigsaw Puzzle Competition on Friday 27 February, with teams racing to finish the same 500-piece puzzle. Expect a cosy evening with refreshments, and limited spaces mean early booking is wise for friends who enjoy a light-hearted challenge.

Our much-loved jigsaw race is back at Buckfastleigh Library – a sociable, good-natured contest where every team tackles the same 500-piece puzzle and the fastest to finish takes the bragging rights. It’s a cracking way to spend a Friday evening with friends or family, with plenty of chatter and a cuppa on the go.

What to expect: A relaxed, timed “pieces down” start, all puzzles provided, and refreshments available for a donation. Come and join us – we’d love to see you there.

Friday 27 February 2026 – doors open 5.45pm, pieces down at 6pm.
Price: £4 per person.
Teams: Up to 4 people per team.
Spaces: Only 6 team slots, so please book in advance.
Refreshments: By donation.
