Buckfastleigh Memory Café train trip to Totnes

All aboard for the next Buckfastleigh Memory Café outing this half term. We’re journeying to Totnes and back on the South Devon Railway, and this month we’re setting off a little earlier than usual as it's half term time — please note the 2.30pm departure instead of our usual 3.45pm.

If you’re living with dementia or other memory problems, do come along with a companion for a gentle, friendly afternoon on board. It’s half term, so grandchildren are warmly welcome too. Parking, refreshments, conversation and a joyous trip out are all free; we simply suggest a donation of £3 per person if you can.

The South Devon Railway is a much-loved heritage line running between Buckfastleigh and Totnes alongside the River Dart — expect big skies, birds over the water, and that lovely unhurried pace that makes the journey part of the treat.
