Purl and a Pint at the Kings Arms, Buckfastleigh

Purl and a Pint invite knitters and crocheters to relaxed meet-ups at the Kings Arms, Buckfastleigh. Join friendly crafters on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings, 7.30–9.30pm, with help for beginners and small projects to get you started.

With the New Year upon us, it’s a grand time to dust off a hobby or try something new. If knitting or crochet is on your list, do come along to Purl and a Pint — we’re a friendly bunch and members are always happy to lend a hand.

Small projects are ideal when you’re getting going: a simple knitted rectangle can become fingerless mitts, and a cosy cowl is a great first try on circular needles. For inspiration, have a browse of pattern booklets in local shops — there’s plenty of choice to spark ideas.

We meet regularly in a relaxed pub setting — perfect for a natter while the needles click. Come and join us; we’d love to see you there.
