This festive season, make Christmas easier on the pocket and kinder to the planet with the Share Shed - A Library of Things. Instead of buying things you’ll only use now and then, you can borrow them for a few pounds — a simple way to cut clutter, reduce waste and still have everything you need for a cosy, well-prepared holiday.
From DIY tools and gardening kit to kitchen appliances, camping gear and party bits, there’s a huge range to choose from — think carpet cleaners to freshen up before guests arrive, sewing machines for quick fixes, and even projectors for family film nights on those long winter evenings.
Christmas borrowing offer: Borrow for 4 weeks, pay for just 1. It’s ideal for extra chairs and crockery, finishing off those pre-Christmas jobs, or adding a touch of festive fun without the expense of buying new. Popular items go quickly at this time of year, so do book early if you can.
We’re also running a friendly, hands-on workshop to help you keep clothes in use for longer — a great skill for saving money and cutting waste.
