As part of our The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe-themed October at Buckfastleigh Library, we’re welcoming the Wool Hub team for a friendly, hands-on craft session. Come along to try needle felting and pompom making, and create your own frosty felt ice queens and cheerful pompom Aslan lions. No previous experience needed — we’ll guide you step by step.

Inspired by C. S. Lewis’s much-loved Narnia tale, the workshop uses simple techniques: needle felting shapes wool fibres into sturdy little figures, while pompoms are a fun, colourful way to bring characters to life. It’s a lovely way to spend an autumn afternoon together.
