French books at Buckfastleigh Library, twinning trip places available

Buckfastleigh Library is hosting a French book display, with selections from the Scoriton & Buckfastleigh Twinning Association, celebrating Bastille Day and the Paris Olympics. The association also has places available on an upcoming long-weekend exchange visit to France.

There’s a lovely French flavour at the moment thanks to the Scoriton & Buckfastleigh Twinning Association. Do pop into the library for a browse, and if the idea of a friendly trip across the Channel appeals, there’s also an invitation to join their August visit.

Join the August trip to France: The Twinning Association still has spaces on its friendly home-stay visit. It’s a great way to experience everyday life with a French family over a long weekend — expect warm hospitality, shared meals, and plenty of chances to practise your French (or simply enjoy the company!). We’d love to see a few new faces along.
