We're absolutely thrilled to invite all young readers to join us at Buckfastleigh Library for an exciting summer reading challenge. Starting from 12th July, children are invited to plunge into the 'Summer Book Quest – Deep Sea Adventure'. This initiative encourages children to read their favourite books, make frequent visits to our library, and engage in delightful activities to earn rewards such as stickers, certificates, and special finishers keyrings.

The library will transform into an underwater realm filled with engaging crafts. Children will have the opportunity to create merfolk and sea creature dioramas, and even get snapped in our 'Super Sub'. In collaboration with Wembury Marine Life Centre, we'll explore the mysteries of the underwater world. Don't miss out on our treasure hunt where participants can win a goodie bag filled with cards, stickers, bookmarks, and worksheets.
