After a short pause, Little Lambs returned on Thursday 3 October 2024. Over the break, the team looked carefully at how the group could continue without project funding, talking with volunteers, St. Luke’s, and each other. We’re pleased to say it’s back – with a few sensible tweaks to keep it going for the long term.
The biggest change is a new committee of fantastic volunteers, supported by an additional team who help to run sessions. You’ll spot them by their volunteer lanyards. To make the group sustainable, we’re now asking for a small donation towards running costs: a suggested £2 per family per week. If it’s easier, you can pay a few weeks in advance.
Happily, all the good bits stay the same: Little Lambs remains open to all parents and carers with children under five, with a healthy, yummy snack for little ones, refreshments for adults, and plenty of varied, engaging activities. The time, day and place are unchanged too.
At a glance:
- When: Thursdays (term-time), 10:00–12:00
- Where: St. Luke’s
- Who for: Parents and carers with children under 5
- Suggested donation: £2 per family per week (advance payment option available)
Whether you’re a regular or popping in for the first time, come and join us for a friendly morning and a chat while the little ones play – we’d love to see you.
