Welcome Alex Holmes, the New Vicar at St Luke's Church

St Luke's Church warmly welcomes Alex Holmes as the new Team Vicar. Join us for upcoming services, a free concert in June, and support through our Foodbank services.

It's with great joy that we introduce Alex Holmes as the new Team Vicar at St Luke's Church, serving the Dart and Avon Mission Community. Alex, who has recently moved to Buckfastleigh after nine years in Somerset, is excited to meet and engage with the community. Don't hesitate to say hello if you see her walking her two border collies, or reach out via email at revalexholmes@gmail.com or call her at 07576 193701. Alex will be working on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Sunday Services in June:
- Quiet evening service of Compline on June 1 at 6:00 PM
- Regular morning services on the next three Sundays at 11:00 AM
- A special combined open-air service on June 29 in Littlehempston, with no service at St Luke's that day.

Free Concert in June:
Join us for an organ and harpsichord concert by Richard Lester on Saturday, June 14 at 2:30 PM. Enjoy the music of Handel and Mozart. Entrance is free, with a retiring collection to support St Luke's Church funds.

Support from the Foodbank:
St Luke's is dedicated to assisting those in need with food and advice. Our CAB adviser has secured significant financial help for many. For support, contact us at 01364 644485. The Foodbank and the popular Foodbank café operate in St Luke's on Friday mornings, though messages can be left on the answerphone at any time.
